Path to Lakemoor – The Dissolution of Lily Lake 7 p.m. June 12
Over the years, the natural and built environment of McHenry County has changed from its rural origins. “Forgotten McHenry County” documents remnants of our past, be it ghost ads on buildings, addresses on transoms, post offices no longer in existence, slaughterhouses, distilleries, outside cellar doors and even corncribs & outhouses. This site will continue to grow as we take more pictures. If you would like to submit a photo, please it send to info@mchsonline.org along with its address and info. Our intention is cover all 17 townships of McHenry County.
