Traveling Displays
The Society has four traveling photo exhibit displays that are lightweight and consist of three free standing double sided panels that stand about seven feet tall. The panels measure 3 x 4 feet. The entire exhibit takes up about nine square feet. Local history pictures are featured and exhibits change frequently. A traveling exhibit may be borrowed for up to a month at a time and is perfect for lobbies and public waiting areas. The Society delivers and picks up the exhibit. There is no charge for the use of these displays.
The McHenry County Historical Society will provide traveling exhibits of artifacts to local libraries that have locked exhibit cases to protect the artifacts. The exhibits are available for one month. To schedule an exhibit, please call Kira Halvey at 815-923-2267 or e-mail at kira@mchsonline.org
